Man Jailed 25 Years with Hard Labour Over Kasoa–Winneba Highway Robbery

Mohammed Bello, 20, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison with hard labour by the Ofaakor Circuit Court for his role in an armed robbery on the Kasoa–Winneba highway.

Bello and four others attacked a passenger van, injured victims, and stole cash and valuables. He was arrested while fleeing with stolen items including over GH¢3,700 and several phones.

His four accomplices are still on the run as police continue investigations.
