Ukraine Drone Strike May Have Crippled Over 40 Russian Bombers – Reports

Kyiv, Ukraine — Reports emerging from international security sources suggest that Ukraine may have executed one of its most significant military operations to date — a drone strike that potentially crippled over 40 Russian bomber aircraft stationed at a key airbase deep inside Russian territory.

Described by analysts as possibly the “worst day in the history of the Russian air force,” the strike is believed to have targeted strategic bombers often used to launch missile attacks against Ukrainian infrastructure. If confirmed, the attack would mark a dramatic escalation in Ukraine’s ability to strike behind enemy lines.

The strike has raised urgent questions about Russia’s air defense capabilities, especially around high-value military assets. Experts suggest the use of long-range drones or sabotage tactics, signaling a shift in Ukraine’s war strategy.

While official confirmation from Moscow remains limited, images and footage reportedly circulating on social media show widespread damage at the targeted base.

This development comes amid ongoing efforts by Ukraine to reclaim territory and disrupt Russia’s military logistics through increasingly bold and precise attacks.
