Amasaman, Ghana – July 15, 2025 — The Amasaman High Court has dismissed a bail application filed by the legal team of controversial evangelist and self-acclaimed “money doublers,” Nana Agradaa, legally known as Patricia Asiedua. This ruling paves the way for the continuation of the appeal process against her earlier conviction for defrauding by false pretenses.

The presiding judge, in delivering the decision on Monday, emphasized that granting bail at this stage could undermine the judicial process and interfere with the appeal procedures currently underway. The court maintained that the seriousness of the charges and the evidence presented during her trial weighed heavily against her application.

Agradaa was convicted earlier this year after she was found guilty of operating a money-doubling scam under the guise of spiritual and religious practices, targeting unsuspecting members of her church.
